Our commitment extends to achieving success while offering a secure and compassionate service for our clients and their residents.
With our dedicated Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Manager (HSEQ) collaborating closely with our specialist construction Health and Safety Consultants, The Health and Safety People (THSP), we ensure that:
- LMAC carry out all operational activities in compliance with current legislation and best practice
- a comprehensive Health and Safety policy covering all divisional activities is in place
- our staff receive all appropriate health and safety training
- regular staff consultations to ensure dedication to health and safety across our business
Ensuring effective safety systems are in place
The knowledge and competency that having our own in-house HSEQ capability brings whilst partnering with THSP means we create a responsible culture amongst our staff towards our health and safety procedures on all our sites.
The HSEQ Manager and THSP will report on our health and safety performance at regular intervals, challenging any areas where we can improve our service to clients. This constant monitoring by experienced and competent employees and consultants means you can be assured our sites always remain safe. Below are just a few ways we keeping the workplace safe.
- We apply Safe Operating Procedures on site
- All site staff receive Asbestos Awareness training
- All Sites have trained First Aid responders
- We promote Mates in Mind to support the mental health of construction workers
