LMAC Eco Systems

We are dedicated experts in eco-systems, committed to fostering sustainable environments across various sectors. Through innovative approaches and comprehensive strategies, we specialize in enhancing biodiversity, conserving natural resources, and promoting eco-friendly practices. Our team collaborates with businesses, governments, and communities to develop tailored solutions that mitigate environmental impact while maximizing ecological benefits.

Championing climate action, driving towards net-zero, and partnering in zero carbon ambitions

In 2021, we proudly launched our ECO division, responding to the urgent challenges posed by climate change. The world is experiencing significant shifts: increasing temperatures, altering rainfall patterns, and rising sea levels. To combat these changes, it’s imperative that we drastically reduce our contribution to climate change and aim to limit global warming to within 1.5ºC. This goal is vital to prevent severe disruptions to our way of life.

Our company has proactively developed a comprehensive carbon reduction plan. This plan is not just about reducing our own carbon footprint; it extends to achieving net-zero emissions, including our supply chain activities. We’re committed to making substantial changes in how we operate, focusing on sustainability in every aspect of our business.

Moreover, we’re dedicated to assisting our clients in their efforts to achieve zero carbon emissions. We understand that this is a collective effort and that our clients’ success in this area is crucial. Our services now include consultation and implementation of sustainable practices, guidance on energy-efficient technologies, and support in developing and executing carbon reduction strategies.

Our ECO division is more than a new branch of our business; it’s a commitment to a sustainable future.

Insulation

Insulation can cut your energy usage by up to 50%. In the UK, most houses feature solid walls, making them the primary source of heat loss in homes.

We are certified installers of Matilda’s Planet, a bespoke internal wall panel insulation system designed to fit each property perfectly. Once installed, it achieves a u-value of 0.28, typically resulting in a 30-40% reduction in your energy bills. Additionally, it comes with a 25-year guarantee, offering long-term assurance and efficiency.

Heat Pumps

Absorbing heat from the air and transforming it into useful heat energy and domestic hot water can markedly lower your carbon footprint. You can choose between air source heat pumps, which extract air from outside, or exhaust air heat pumps, recycling air already inside your home.

Heat pumps lessen dependency on fossil fuels and emit no harmful gases. They’re also compatible with PV panels for energy sourcing and work well with underfloor heating systems due to their lower water delivery temperature.

Photovoltaic Panels (PV)

Solar panels provide a sustainable way of harvesting energy from the sun and converting it to electricity. With energy prices raising substantially, it makes sense to invest now and save money on your energy bills whilst reducing your carbon footprint. You can also generate an income via the Government Smart Export Guarantee (SEG).

LED Lighting

Switching to LED lights is a simple step towards sustainability. LED bulbs are energy-efficient, have a long lifespan, and don’t emit heat or UV rays. About 70% of the energy they use is converted into light, and their low operating temperature makes them safer. Replacing just one 60-watt incandescent bulb with an LED can reduce your CO2 emissions by around 160kg.

EV Chargers

Switching to an electric vehicle offers a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Our skilled engineers, trained by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), specialise in the installation and maintenance of charging points. You can also benefit from grants provided by the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).
